James Merrington MRCVS
James graduated from the Royal Veterinary College, London, in 2014 and joined the Border branch of the Brownlow Veterinary Group soon after qualifying.
His particular interests are Medicine and Surgery.
James has a rescue dog called Buddy who he enjoys walking, a kitten called Chunk and his other hobbies include playing the guitar, cooking and rowing when he has the opportunity.
Sarah Buckley MRCVS
Sarah is a local girl, she graduated from Liverpool University in 2015 and then spent some time doing voluntary Veterinary work before joining Brownlow Veterinary Group in November 2015. Sarah normally works in the Ellesmere and Oswestry branches.
As with all our staff Sarah has recently taken on a rescue kitten named Wonky! (brother to Chunk)
Alice Wynne VN
Alice qualified as a Veterinary nurse in 2000 and joined the Ellesmere practice in 2001. Coming from an agricultural background, this gives Alice the experience and knowledge to assist our large animal vets on farm visits. Outside work she enjoys caravaning with her husband and 2 three legged dogs and spending time with her cat.
Jess Tipping ANA
Rachel started working at Brownlows in 2001 on Saturdays in reception. Moving to full time and then joining the nursing team. She has a Cocker Spaniel called Ollie and a lot of her spare time is spent looking after her five guinea pigs!
Rachel has set up and run (with the help of Head nurse Alice) Puppy Parties since the new practice was opened in Ellesmere. These are held at the Brownlow practice on a Tusday evening at 6.30pm for all puppies over 12 weeks old and that have completed their vaccination course.

Karen has been with the Brownlow group since 2003. She is receptionist for both the Ellesmere and the Chirk branches. Her hobbies are knitting and cross stitch and looking after her two cats.
